Are you ready to learn some new techniques? Want better control of your board? To go faster? Our head instructor Matt will lead a two hour lesson on a lovely calm stretch of the River Severn at The Lower Lode Inn taking you through such board control techniques as:

– Cross-nose turn. An efficient way of turning the board quickly without the need to move your feet like a pivot turn.
– Nose grab. An often neglected but essential paddling technique to track in a straight line, lessen the need to switch sides and give you the best control in moving waters.
– Pivot turn. A racing turn to navigate around buoys…and also just to make you look cool and have a lot of fun.

Please bring a towel and change of clothes. Wetsuits are available if needed. We recommend bare feet, wear trainers if you wish but they will get wet.
